It feels like a true successor to Origins and is made by (largely) the same team. Odyssey is a mediocre action RPG with an Assassin's Creed skin while Valhalla at least attempts to feel like an Assassin's Creed of old. It succeeds in that in my 1stOrigins, then Odyssey. It doesn't really matter, but Odyssey is far more superior tho. If you play Odyssey first, you will pretty much end not playing Origins lol Origins is ok story wise, but combat wise and everything else is so clunky. Plus, at least IMO, is a bit hard to get into. Havent played Valhalla myself but loved origin’s and hated Odyssey as an assassin’s creed game, it was a good game but terrible assassins creed. After Origins and Odyssey, Valhalla feels a bit too familiar to spend another 100 hours with. If the game was 1/2 or 1/3 the length I might enjoy it more. cubicle47b. Member. I think that Origins is one of the best ever assassin's creeds ever and that Odyssey and Valhalla are not even near Origins. Where In odyssey it was always dialogue, kill target, carry body, dialogue, repeat, Valhalla’s side content actually varies greatly in the simple interactions required of the player keeping them fresh. AncientGreece is my favorite game world in the recent trilogy, Kassandra is better than both male and female Eivor put together YET i think Valhalla is bett VAUt.
